Our Experience:
Terris Hanenburg I have been directly involved with residential and commercial construction since 1968. My experience as a construction manager lead me into all phases of construction. I started T&C Services in 1989 to perform repair work on houses that were being sold. After three years, we decided that the inspectors that found these defects were sometimes inaccurate. I decided to apply my knowledge of building systems to become a certified inspector. Growing up in Spokane Washington, one grandfather was a plumber, one a carpenter and my father was an electrician. At Arizona State University I majored in construction management. Since 1992 I have inspected over 5,000 homes and buildings.
Jeff Knapp As a young man, Jeff worked as a painter, an apprentice plasterer and a masonry tender. He then had the opportunity to work with a remodeling contractor doing finish carpentry. With his accumulated experience, he became a home builder constructing homes in King County for 14 years. To better suit his family's needs he chose a career in home inspecting. Over the last 14 years he has performed over 6,000 inspections. Jeff's parents were real estate agents and instilled in him a keen understanding of that industry. While he works out of Bellevue, he ranges far and wide to provide service for his clients and agents.
Randy Purdom Randy began his long residential career in a Montana lumber yard learning the board foot system. Using this experience, he joined a construction firm that engaged in all stages of residential carpentry. While with his second contracting firm, he helped to complete the historical restoration of the Yellowstone Inn. Upon arriving in the Puget Sound area in 1980, Randy was again employed by a general contractor and later joined a new venture repairing a de-watering crawl spaces and basements. Over time, he experienced several construction injuries which spurred him to enroll in the Construction Management course at Edmonds Community College. After receiving his management and ICBO certification, he was employed in a temporary position by Snohomish County as a building inspector. In 2000, Randy chose to become a residential home inspector and has inspected over 3500 homes. Randy's location in Everett geographically serves everything between I-90 and Mount Vernon.
Matt Goodson Matt Goodson has been working in the building trades since high school. Early in his career he worked in a door shop giving him an inside view of all the trim and finish carpentry of a home. After working for general remodeling firms he joined Ready National Pest Control where he stayed for 10 years. His next step was home inspection and while building his clientele in that area, he also obtained a Real Estate sales license. Matt is now operating a home repair company and answering all the inspection requests that come in for him from I-90 south.
